He went on to make his directorial debut with the 2012 thriller film Pizza which was a low budget film, but earned huge profits. It is said to hold the record for having earned the highest amount in terms of returns to investment. The movie is being dubbed in Telugu and is set to be released in the last week of December. The rights for his movie Pizza have been bought by Suresh Kondagi from Hyderabad.His latest venture Jigarthanda which deals with the Madurai underworld was released in september 2014. The film stars Siddharth, Lakshmi Menon, Bobby Simha and Karuna. Which rocks the box office and gets positive reviews from all audiences.
